DESCRIPTION

CRM+ is a dietary supplement based on creatine, indicated for adult athletes who engage in intense physical activity. Creatine is an amino acid derivative produced by the body from the amino acids glycine, arginine, and S-adenosyl-methionine. During rest, creatine is converted into phosphocreatine (PCr), a compound containing a phosphate group. During muscle activity, the phosphate group is used to produce ATP, a molecule that provides the energy necessary for the numerous cellular reactions of the body. The role of creatine in energy production is particularly relevant under conditions of high energy demands, increasing physical performance in the case of repetitive, high-intensity, and short-duration activities. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine.
